2025 to 2026

2025: 18 Cities, 8 countries, 52,000+ miles flown, and 9 Korean dramas (I’m obsessed.) Here are a few of my favorite sketches from those travels, and yes, I’m exhausted! 🙂

2026 will see workshops in beautiful Bruges & Ghent in June, the Urban Sketchers symposium in July, and back to amazing Civita di Bagnoregio, Italy in September and MISA on the beach in Monterey, CA in October. Want to join me to learn architectural sketching in perspective and watercolor? INFO is here!

Looking into the main plaza in Poznan, Poland before the crowds arrived for the Urban Sketchers Symposium in August 2025.

Oxford, England workshop looking UP at St. Mary’s tower.

London Bridge after the Oxford workshop.

Beautiful little alley in Cambridge, England.

Sketching on the Northern California coast in the 5-day MISA workshop. I’ll be back there again in October 2026!

Florence, Italy…a few days here to sketch after the Civita workshop. Nothing glows like the spaces in Italy…

Displaying sketches after giving a lecture on how to find your sketching style at Sketcher Fest near Seattle.

The bridges in Chicago at Chicago Sketch Seminar in July.

Sitting in the path of the tram only a few feet away, Den Haag.

Sketching at the new Victoria & Albert East in London. Someone from the staff asked if they could scan the sketch to put up in the offices…!!!!

The incomparable Civita di Bagnoregio, Italy!

What an amazing year it was!! I met so many wonderful sketchers and students from all over the world, I am so grateful for these opportunities! Thank you!

  2. You are amazing to keep that kind of travel schedule and then to have the creative energy to produce such stunning sketches! What a privilege to have been in you class Civita in the past, and then in Oxford!!
